The current trustees of our Umbrella funds are as follows:

Dr Shannon Kendal (Phd, FIA, CFP)
Shannon is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and has a PhD in Pure Mathematics. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Actuarial Science Department at the University of Cape Town and consults to various organisations on Actuarial and Employee Benefits issues. Previously Assistant General Manager: Employee Benefits of Southern Life, Shannon has over 30 years experience in the Employee Benefits and Life Assurance Industry.

Mr Des Rabe (BA LLB, CFP)
Des is a lawyer specializing in Retirement Funds. He is currently in private practice having previously been employed by Southern Life and Sanlam.

Mrs Dalene Willemse (BA LLB BProc)
Dalene has more than 20 years’ experience in the employee benefits industry. She has served as head of legal services of various retirement fund administrators and has served on the National Steering Committee of the Pension Lawyers’ Association of South Africa.

Mr Colin McKelvie
Colin is currently an independent Trustee and Principal Officer of a number of funds. Previously an Associate Director of Alexander Forbes, Colin has over 40 years experience in the pension industry.

Mr Richard Davis BSc (Alternate Trustee)
Richard has over 20 years’ experience in the pension fund industry. Richard was extensively involved in improving the business processes of a major retirement fund administrator.
